I cannot believe it is already December!!! We have so many fun things going on this month. I sent home a newsletter about all these things but just as a reminder here they are again...
We are learning about Christmas around the world instead of our regular science and social studies lessons this month. We will learn about Christmas in China, Mexico, Holland, Germany, Italy, and Sweden.
We have 2 birthdays this month: Abbie on the 2nd and Heidi on the 4th.
We will go to CVHS on Monday the 6th to see the drama dept. presentation of White Christmas.
On December 7th we have a special assembly done by some of the SUU Athletes.
We have been practicing like mad for our 3 Piggy Opera!!! Hopefully you have heard your child singing some of the songs for you. Mark your calendars for Monday, December 13th at 6:00pm for our performance. You will NOT want to miss this.
On December 13th from 9:00-10:30 am I need some volunteers to help assemble our gingerbread houses so they will be ready to decorate on the 17th. If you can come in and do that will you please email or call me? Thank you.
We will be decorating our gingerbread houses on Friday the 17th at 2:30. This is a first grade tradition and always fun. Please set aside an hour to come spend sometime with you first grader and decorate their house with them. We need CANDY, KEEBLER GRAHAM CRACKERS, AND WHITE FROSTING to make this happen. Please send theses items in ASAP.
